My Ten Favorite AP Books
These are my most favorite books that I have read from the AP reading list. These books are sure not to disappoint and I promise you will enjoy all of them. They are in no particular order of which I liked the best.
1. The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver
I loved the Poisonwood Bible for many reasons, but the main reason I loved it was because all of the characters in the book truly portrayed real life people. The main family in the novel travels to Africa for a mission trip because the father is a minister. Out of selfish reasons, the father makes his family leave everything that is comfortable to them.
2. The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
3. The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
4. A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini
5. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
6. Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison
7. The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan
8. The Color Purple by Alice Walker
9. Daisy Miller by Henry James
10. The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood
